Great day for a White Wedding.....

Wow what a week!

This past week has been crazy with the amount of snow we have had around Worksop. Cars were ditched at the road side, The A57 was closed due to the brand new tunnel linking the two sides of the golf course and more importantly Heidi & Alex were getting ready to be married on Friday 3rd December.

Heidi called me and explained that her dress was stuck in Sheffield and that the arranged transport was not suitable for the snowy and icey roads. She had been in touch with Hallam FM, who had put an appeal out for transport. Thankfully a Nissan Dealership in Sheffield came to the rescue and delivered the dress and provided the transport for the day.

ITV Calendar news picked up on the story and a camera crew turned up to Shireoaks Church to grab an interview with the happy couple. They even aired it the same evening so the guests arriving at the reception at The Red Lion, Todwick, who had seen it were all telling Heidi that she was a celeb bride! She looked like one all day to everyone present, even without the media scrum.

You can read the news story on the Hallam FM website here.

Personally I really enjoyed photographing Heidi and Alex's wedding, they were a pleasure to work with and were very laid back all day.

Heres a just a few of my favourite shots from the day...
